Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee – every cup traces back here. Yirgacheffe sits at the heart of the Gedeo Zone, where smallholder farms average less than two acres and coffee grows wild among the trees. The altitude, the heirloom varieties, and generations of knowledge produce some of the most distinct cups on the planet.

This lot comes from a network of smallholder farmers in the Yirgacheffe cooperative system, each tending under two acres at altitude. Cherries are hand-sorted and delivered to the central washing station, where the lot is processed together to maintain consistency.
