You didn't plan to be awake for this. But here you are, and it's incredible. Kenyan AA, double-washed, the kind of brightness that makes you glad you stayed up.
about Kenya
Kenya's coffee industry is one of the most sophisticated in the world — a combination of ideal growing altitude, the SL28 and SL34 varieties, and a rigorous auction system that rewards quality. The Nyeri region sits on the slopes of Mount Kenya, where volcanic soil and two rainy seasons produce the bold, winey character Kenya is known for.
the producer
This lot comes from a small farmer cooperative delivering to a single washing station in the Nyeri highlands. Cherries are sorted twice — once at delivery, once on the drying tables — before undergoing a thorough double-washing process that gives the cup its characteristic clarity.

what people are saying
Nadia F.
“Didn't expect to love a Kenyan this much. The blackcurrant note is real – not subtle, not hidden. It's just there. In your cup. Being fruit.”
Oliver T.
“Pulled a shot out of curiosity. Poured it out because it was wrong. Made pour over. Correct decision. Exceptional coffee.”
Yuki R.
“Bright to the point of aggressive, but in the best way. If you like your coffee to have an opinion, this has several.”
Dani W.
“The long finish is not marketing. I finished the cup 20 minutes ago and there's still something happening.”
